Personal Growth
Personal Growth is something I’m very passionate about and I like to share what has been helpful to me in removing the blocks in my life so I can be freer to express myself through my creativity. I can now see what is possible if I’m willing to grow and take responsibility for what my inner feelings want me to become.
As part of our personal growth we need to realise that we are responsible for our thoughts and we have to learn to control them. It may not be easy at first but it can be done. Begin by watching the word you use and keep in mind that we want to have good intention behind the way we speak for it to be believable. Personal growth can be hard work at times but also very exciting when you can see and feel the positive results in your life.
On your path to personal growth you can start by making small agreements with yourself and stick to them. That way you will build up trust within yourself and you will begin to believe that you can make it and you will reach your goal. We all have unwanted thoughts but when you’re on a path to personal growth you will learn that you do not have to pay attention to those unwanted thoughts we all have. We do have a choice and we can practice this choice.
Part of our personal growth is to learn to manage our negative thoughts and one way to improve our thoughts is by doing auto-suggestions or affirmations as some calls it and it can be like a meditation. Every time you have negative thoughts you repeat a positive affirmation of your choice quietly in your head and you will soon experience a more optimistic outlook on life. When you have done it for a while it almost becomes a habit and your body, mind and spirit will response to your new positive outlook. You will start to attract things in your life that you that you never thought were possible before.
We all make mistakes along the way but it is part of our journey of personal growth and self improvement. However we can chose to call our mistakes learning experiences and take full responsibility for our actions without trying to justify or blame anyone.
Personal growth can be an eye-opener and rather than give yourself a hard time for not seeing the light before you need to exercise compassion for yourself. Realise that when you are in touch with your inner self your senses and intuition is highlighted and you have a greater flow of energy. Original ideas will come into your mind and you do not have to go along with the crowd but follow your own unique way of thinking.
